Beer is the reason. It’s what we love most, and the reason we’re here! Our roots run deep in the San Diego craft beer community, and they spread wide, to include our brewer friends throughout California, the west, the midwest, and the east, and extending south of the border to Mexico, and across the pond to the UK, to Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Estonia, and Italy, and all the way east to Japan. We value excellence, and it is always our goal to exhibit beers that are true to style, that we are proud of, that we love to drink, and that we are honored to share with our comrades all over the world.
Our Owner and Head Brewer, Jeff Bagby, began his professional brewing career right here in San Diego well over 20 years ago. His passion for the rich history and time-honored traditions of beer began way back then, and continues to this day. It’s what drives every decision about our beer, from the styles we brew, to the glassware that each is served in.
This commitment to honoring and celebrating well-made, true-to-style beer is our identity at Bagby, and it flows through to every glass we fill. We believe this kind of passion is what makes exceptional beer.
